The government fee is separate — and you pay it directly
EasyVisa's invoice covers only our service fee plus any document add-ons. The embassy or visa portal charges its own fee, which you pay to them directly on your own account.
Why we don't bundle it in. Visa fees change with exchange rates and government policy. Paying the authority directly keeps your money in your hands and the transaction transparent.
Estimates only. Where it helps, we'll quote an indicative government fee at today's exchange rate — but the exact amount is shown when you pay. Always verify on the official portal.

Government fees above are indicative only and change without notice — always verify the current amount on the official government portal before you pay.
Need documents legalised for your visa? Add them on
Visa applications often need apostilled certificates, police clearances or sworn translations. These are not included in the Tier 1–3 service fees — they're add-ons, charged per document at the standard Easy Services Group prices below. All final, no VAT.
| Add-on service | Price (final, no VAT) | Unit |
|---|---|---|
| DIRCO apostille | R1,650 | per document |
| High Court apostille (notary + apostille) | R1,650 | flat per destination country |

| SAPS police clearance (PCC) | R2,450 | per certificate |

| Embassy attestation (full chain, non-Hague) | R3,150 | per document |
| Notary certification | R1,350 | per document |

| International courier (by zone) | R800–R1,300 | per shipment |
Most SA visa firms are quote-only and start at R11,000+
The market norm is an all-in package price you only see after you hand over your details — often R11,000 and up, bundling the government fee in so it's hard to compare. EasyVisa separates the two: a published service fee, and the government fee paid directly by you. You can see exactly what you're paying for.
